Ulcerative colitis and tsugetsu nabe

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis two months after I developed symptoms of ulcerative colitis, which was diagnosed during an endoscopy.

After diagnosis, I took 3 Pentasa tablets x 3 times a day and 2 Irricoron tablets x 3 times a day. I started taking Pentasa and the effects were immediate. The bleeding stopped and the frequency of stools seemed to have slowed down to a couple of times.

However, when I let my guard down and ate a lot of tsukuno-nabe, it flared up again, and for the next year and a half, the symptoms never completely resolved. (A year and a half is a very short time for a patient with ulcerative colitis…)

Now that I am completely relieved by “Indigo naturalis”, I feel that “Motsu-nabe” is a hurdle that I have to overcome (exaggeration…).

Well, anyway, such a fatty food is a meal that should be avoided when the symptoms of ulcerative colitis are not good.
