Regarding the number of patients with ulcerative colitis

Regarding the number of patients with ulcerative colitis, information from the Information Center for Intractable Diseases is slightly out of date, but it is estimated to be 77,073 (based on the number of specific disease medical care beneficiary certificates issued in fiscal 2002).

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s “FY2007 Report on Health and Sanitation Administrative Operations (Examples of Sanitation Administrative Reports)” lists 96,993 people as the number of specified disease medical care beneficiary certificate holders as of the end of FY2007.

The number is increasing at the rate of about 4,000 people every year. I think there is a reason why the number of beneficiary certificate holders is not decreasing, partly because it is difficult to cure the disease completely.

I would like those who are still suffering to try “Indigo naturalis” once. I cannot be held responsible for it, but I continue to be completely relaxed.
