I received a comment from a patient with moderate colitis type who says that “Indigo naturalis” does not work even after 2 weeks.
Is there a difference in efficacy depending on the classification of the disease?
(Quote from the Intractable Disease Information Center’s website)
The classification of the disease status is based on the spread of the disease (total colitis, left-sided colitis, proctitis, right-sided or regional colitis), the clinical severity (severe, moderate, mild), the stage of the disease (active or in remission), and the clinical course (relapsing-remitting, chronic persistent, acute severe, or first attack). Many patients require long-term medical management because of repeated flare-ups and remissions.
The disease is probably more advanced in the total colitis type than in the partial colitis type. Depending on the severity of symptoms, “Indigo naturalis” may be effective, ineffective, fast-acting, or ineffective.
At any rate, since you have only been taking “Indigo naturalis” for two weeks, we will wait and see how things go a little longer and let you know if you have any further reports.
I hope that your ulcerative colitis symptoms will get better…
