Sushi and Italian food to accompany you when you rekindle

I had to be very careful with my diet before I was able to take “Indigo naturalis” and get into a state of remission.

I think it was especially difficult for my wife. She had been cooking without oil, pork, or beef for a long time. Recently, thanks to “Indigo naturalis,” I have been able to lift my restrictions on oil, pork, and beef, and I’ve been saying, “I’ve forgotten how to cook…” (Laughter) (laugh).

(Laughs.) I used to eat out mainly at sushi restaurants or Italian restaurants. One of the few things that saved me was that my ulcerative colitis was less aggravated by sushi and it was also my favorite food. I had read that olive oil, which is the main ingredient used in Italian food, also did not aggravate my symptoms, so I used it often, though less frequently than I used sushi restaurants.

It was hard when my symptoms were severe because this disease really makes it very restrictive to eat out.

Now I’m not rebounding, but I’m careful not to eat too much good food and gain weight all at once.
