The relationship between ulcerative colitis and stress is

Many patients with ulcerative colitis were experiencing significant stress in their work and personal lives at the onset of the disease.

Stress here includes both physical and mental stress.

In many cases, people who are highly stressed and have a disordered diet or a preference for fatty foods develop ulcerative colitis.

In fact, when I developed ulcerative colitis, I had a hard day at work and in my personal life. I was financially strapped…

I also think that there is such a thing as a stressful personality. Different people may feel stress or not feel stress at all, even in the same event.

I think I have a personality that easily feels stress. I get very angry when I see people without delicacy on the train, driving a car, or in public. I also get very angry at the politicians and bureaucrats in Japan today.

And I liked fatty foods very much. I also like to drink alcohol, so it seems that I was born with ulcerative colitis.

However, if I don’t improve my stressful personality and eating habits, I will be more susceptible to other lifestyle-related diseases.
