What is Ulcerative Colitis Surgery?

I looked into the surgical treatment of ulcerative colitis.

Most cases of ulcerative colitis can be controlled with drug therapy, but surgery may be necessary in the following cases.

(1) When massive bleeding is observed

(2) Toxic megacolonosis (the colon swells up and toxins circulate throughout the body)

(3) Perforation (rupture of the colon)

(4) Cancerous growth or suspected cancerous growth

(5) Severe cases that do not respond to medical therapy

(6) Cases in which drugs such as steroids cannot be used due to side effects.

The basic surgical procedure is a total resection of the colon. In the past, surgery to place a colostomy was performed, but nowadays, surgery to preserve the anus is the most common method. In this surgery, after removing the large intestine, a stool bag is made from the small intestine and connected to the anus. This surgical method has dramatically improved the quality of life of patients.

From what I have read in blogs and diaries of those who have undergone previous surgeries to install a colostomy, it seems that there are various obstacles in their daily lives. And even with the current surgery, there is a possibility of diarrhea, leakage of stools, dehydration, pus accumulation, and various other symptoms after the surgery. There is no doubt that surgery is the last resort in ulcerative colitis.

If it were me, I would try every possible means to reach surgery. I would try all kinds of medicines, all kinds of health foods, Chinese herbs, herbal medicines such as “Indigo naturalis”, lactobacillus-based health foods, steroids, or anything else I could do, such as nail-pulling, etc. I would try all kinds of medicines, all kinds of health foods, Chinese herbs, “Indigo naturalis”, etc.

Personally, I would like you to try “Indigo naturalis” which dramatically improved and relieved my ulcerative colitis.

Of course, “Indigo naturalis” is not a drug and its efficacy as a drug has not been proven, so please be fully aware of its efficacy and side effects and use it at your own risk. Although we have never heard of any cases of allergic reactions or side effects, no one will take responsibility for any accidents that may occur.
